The Fort Monroe YMCA is located in a historic antebellum building built in 1903, and was once home to the first Armed Services YMCA in the Country, established in 1889. The YMCA is proud to restore the YMCA in Fort Monroe as part of the revitalization of this community. Members can train using selectorized machines, plate-loaded equipment, free weights, and cable crossover systems. The wellness floor also includes rack-based lifting stations for compound strength training.
