Because of our background in physical therapy, injury prevention, and athletics, we strongly believe that Pilates can and should be complementary to other forms of movement and exercise. We see immense value in heavier weight training for longevity, bone density, and injury prevention, and so we will encourage you to find balance between Pilates, and other important movement!
