We bend together so we don't break alone. Things are as different as you are at Yoga Moderne. We are an independent, deeply inclusive, locally-owned studio. Our 40-50 classes each week are set against a stunning backdrop with leading teachers like Kyra Weinberger Hall (eRYT 500, student of Lisa Schrempp and Sharath Jois (1971-2024)) and Jesse Caleb Davis (KC Yoga in the Park, Yoga at the Kauffman Center). Yoga Moderne is a second home for yoga and ideal third space for creating community no matter whether you are new to the area or have searched to find your people for a long time. The walls are not lined with mirrors. We know your name. We offer yoga in all of its rich forms from kundalini to hatha to yin to ashtanga. All bodies are welcomed. Yoga here means yoga (not pilates, not some weightlifting with a dash of feel good woo woo). Our teachers have learned from tradition. The student still knows best. We honor the privileged relationship of teacher and student with hands-on adjustments based on consent and opting-in. What is more, we offer 1-2 Kids! yoga classes every single day at times when adults can take classes just across the hallway. All mats, equipment, and supports are available for you here and free to use. Just come with an open heart and enjoy our interfaith space, governed by kindness and respect.
