The partnership expands Basic-Fit’s “Feel Good Club” approach into corporate wellbeing at scale through Wellhub’s employer wellness platform.

New York, September 16, 2026 — Basic-Fit, Europe’s largest fitness chain, and Wellhub, the world’s leading corporate wellness platform, today announced a partnership to expand employee wellbeing access across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

Under the agreement, Basic-Fit corporate memberships will be available through Wellhub, giving employers across the region a single solution to support employee wellbeing. Employees will gain access to Basic-Fit’s network of more than 2,000 clubs, alongside Wellhub’s broader ecosystem of fitness and wellness partners worldwide, including digital services for mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep.

Building on a successful existing collaboration between Basic-Fit and Wellhub in Spain and Germany, Basic-Fit and Wellhub are expanding their relationship across both existing and new markets, helping more employers make wellbeing accessible to their teams across Europe.

The partnership comes as Wellhub prepares to launch its full employee wellbeing platform in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg later this year. Through Wellhub, more than 50,000 companies and 5 million subscribers globally already have access to a network of 110,000+ fitness and wellness partners.

Demand for employee wellbeing programs continues to grow across Europe, particularly in France, where workplace benefits play an increasingly important role.

France represents one of Europe’s most established employee wellbeing markets, where workplace benefits are deeply embedded into company culture and supported through long-standing employee benefit structures. Yet despite strong employer investment in wellbeing, companies still face challenges driving consistent employee participation and engagement.

Through its “Feel Good Club” philosophy, Basic-Fit has already made fitness and wellbeing part of everyday life for millions of consumers across Europe. Together with Wellhub, the company is now extending that approach into corporate wellbeing across France and Benelux, helping employers create wellbeing experiences employees are more motivated to use consistently.

"At Basic-Fit, our mission is to make fitness accessible to everyone, and that includes helping people stay active throughout their working lives. Over the past three years, our partnership with Wellhub in Spain and Germany has shown how employers can play an important role in making fitness part of everyday life. As Wellhub expands into France and Benelux, we're excited to build on that success and help even more companies create healthier, more active workplaces." Erica van Vonderen-Hahn, Chief Commercial Officer, Basic-Fit.

“Basic-Fit has built the most powerful and recognizable fitness brands in Europe, with a presence that is already part of millions of people’s everyday lives across France and Benelux. This is a true partnership built around a shared belief that wellbeing should be more accessible and engaging for everyone. We’re thrilled to work alongside the Basic-Fit team to help grow their corporate wellness offering and bring wellbeing to more employers and employees across these markets,” said Eamon Lloyd, VP of Fitness Partners Europe, Wellhub.

As part of the partnership, Basic-Fit and Wellhub will work together to help more employers bring accessible wellbeing programs to their teams. By combining Basic-Fit’s extensive club network with Wellhub’s employee engagement platform and global wellness ecosystem, the companies aim to make it easier for employees to build healthier routines both in and outside the gym.

“Partnering with Basic-Fit gives us an incredible opportunity to launch in France and Benelux alongside a brand that already plays such an important role in millions of people’s daily lives,” said Cesar Carvalho, CEO and Co-Founder of Wellhub. “These are markets where employee wellbeing is already deeply valued and where employers are actively looking for solutions that people will genuinely use. Together with Basic-Fit, we have an opportunity to help close that gap by making wellbeing more accessible, engaging, and integrated into everyday life. We’re excited to continue expanding across Europe as we advance our mission of making every company a wellness company.”

Wellhub helps companies improve productivity, retention, and healthcare outcomes by making wellbeing more accessible and engaging for employees every day.

Wellhub will become available to corporate clients in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg later this year.
