Wellhub Rings in 2025 With a New Year's Resolution for the Global Workforce: Wellness Your Way
New York, NY – January 9, 2025 – As millions of people make New Year's resolutions to improve their health and wellness, Wellhub is offering businesses a breakthrough solution to support employee wellbeing and combat resolution fatigue. Based on a recent survey of Wellhub users, employees are prioritizing their holistic health in 2025, with 75% reporting an emphasis on physical health, 52% on mental wellbeing, and 46% on nutrition.
The challenge is clear: traditional, legacy wellness benefits and stand alone point solutions often result in low employee enrollment and quick abandonment. On top of that, as work stress intensifies, 88% of employees say wellbeing support is as important to them as their salary, yet many feel employers are falling short. Research shows companies which offer holistic wellbeing benefits that meet the diverse needs of their employees and have C-suite participation in these programs see much higher engagement and ROI.
"New Year's resolutions often fail because they lack sustained support and engagement," said Cesar Carvalho, CEO and Co-Founder, Wellhub. "As HR leaders seek more meaningful ways to support employee health, Wellhub provides the data and tools to make wellness programs truly impactful. We are committed to reversing the trend of abandoned resolutions and creating sustainable health initiatives that benefit both employees and organizations.”
Wellhub provides companies and their employees wellness plans for fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep, all included in one subscription. As 2025 begins, so too will Wellhub’s “Wellness Your Way” campaign. This creative campaign will celebrate the incredible cost savings and variety of fitness and wellness options available to millions of eligible employees in every Wellhub plan. The campaign will begin in January, which is the time when many people set their New Year's resolution goals; Wellhub hopes the campaign energizes and encourages employees to find the plan with the perfect combination of price and partners that helps them achieve their goals for 2024.
