Wellhub Is Driving a New Era of Fitness Industry Growth as Payouts to Gyms Doubled in 2025
Last Updated Mar 10, 2026

Ahead of HFA 2026, Wellhub demonstrates growing "Stronger Together", with the global partner network earning more than 2x year-over-year, as it continues forging connections between the fitness industry and over 40k clients investing in corporate wellness.
March 10, 2026 — Wellhubis heading to the 2026 Health & Fitness Association (HFA) event on the heels of a record year — one that signals a fundamental shift in how the fitness industry grows through strategic partnerships in corporate wellness.
Wellhub operates the world’s largest corporate wellness network, connecting nearly 40,000 corporate clients and more than 5 million employee subscribers to 100,000 gyms, studios, and digital wellness providers globally, including 25,000 in the U.S.
In 2025, gross payouts to U.S. fitness operators in Wellhub’s robust network nearly doubled year-over-year and grew 107% globally, driven by Wellhub’s focused approach to corporate wellness, connecting gyms and studios with employers investing significantly in employee wellbeing.
By focusing exclusively on driving a B2B model, Wellhub expands the fitness industry target market and brings new members to its network of fitness and wellness partners; more than 90% of Wellhub users visiting a gym or studio are doing so for the very first time, creating incremental revenue for operators rather than shifting existing demand.
This growth is fueled by the consistent expansion of Wellhub’s corporate client base and strong employee adoption within those organizations.  In just three years, Wellhub grew from 100 million check-ins in 2022 to 1 billion in 2025, a tenfold increase, as Wellhub's innovations engage and motivate corporate users to visit gyms and studios and proves the model’s strength in converting eligible employees into active participants.
The platform’s ability to drive new users to network partners reports enrollment rates 3–5x higher than traditional corporate wellness approaches, such as employer-owned gyms, single-gym or single-network memberships, and reimbursement-based benefit programs.
Innovation Designed to Increase User Engagement… and Revenue
At HFA 2026, Wellhub will highlight recently launched features designed to drive in-app user behavior and increase their engagement and translate access to Wellhub’s network into measurable activity.
- Wellhub AI (Beta): An in-platform assistant that helps users set goals, build weekly routines, and discover relevant gyms, studios, and digital services — supporting sustained participation beyond initial enrollment.
- International Check-ins: Allows members to access gyms and studios in any country where Wellhub operates. This new feature drives incremental check-ins from international visitors without any additional marketing spend, maximizing utilization and unlocking global brand exposure.
- Wellhub Challenges:Â New structured challenges designed to activate benefits, attract new users, and encourage repeat visits to increase check-ins at participating facilities.
- 50+ CMS Integrations: Direct integrations with leading booking and management systems eliminates friction in scheduling and drive up to 40% more visits.
- Off-Peak Hours: Analytics that provide operators with visibility into demand patterns, helping optimize scheduling, staffing, and space utilization.
Together, these innovations reflect a shift from simply providing access to actively engineering participation, with partner revenue directly linked to member check-ins.
Wellhub gives employees from companies such as Aflac, Brookfield, FanDuel, SeatGeek, SoFi, and ZenDesk access to over 100,000 global and local fitness operators like Anytime Fitness, Barry’s, Crunch, F45, LA Fitness, Life Time, OrangeTheory, and wellness apps such as Headspace, MyFitnessPal and Strava.Â
At HFA 2026, Wellhub will show how corporate wellness has become one of the most reliable, scalable growth channels available to fitness operators today.Â
Visit Wellhub at Booth #2411 by the entrances of Hall A – Stop by the all-day coffee bar or join the Wellhub Happy Hour on March 17 from 4:00–6:00 PM.
