Ilustration: Don’t just go to work. Go Well. Citibike - powered by lyft - available on WELLHUB. Unlock 4 rides per month.

[New York, NY | August 5, 2025] —  Wellhub, a leading corporate wellness platform, today announced a major expansion of its network in New York City: Citi Bike, operated by Lyft, is now available through Wellhub for participating employees.

Wellhub offers employee wellness plans that include access to fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep services, all at a reduced cost. This is the company's first micromobility partnership in North America, making it easier for employees to incorporate movement into their commutes and getting around the city.

Employees enrolled in the Wellhub Starter+ plan or higher now have access to Citi Bike’s classic pedal bikes — up to four rides per month — across the program’s 35,000 bikes and more than 2,500 stations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Jersey City and Hoboken.

“Commuting is the new cardio,” said Cesar Carvalho, Co-Founder and CEO of Wellhub. “For New York employees, Wellhub’s partnership with Lyft’s Citi Bike system gives a new way to integrate wellness into their daily lives. We're making it easier than ever to prioritize movement, underscoring our commitment to help companies empower their workforce and build a culture where wellbeing is at the center, not just an added perk.”

A pilot earlier this summer demonstrated clear demand: in just two weeks, participating employees logged thousands of Citi Bike sign-ups via Wellhub — a sign that everyday movement is becoming central to wellbeing.

“Citi Bike has always been about giving New Yorkers the freedom to move — affordably, reliably, and sustainably,” said Michael Brous, Head of Lyft Urban Solutions. “Now, through our partnership with Wellhub, that movement becomes part of something bigger. Whether they’re heading to work, their next workout, or just getting a little time outside, we’re proud to help New Yorkers make movement a more natural part of their day and expand how Wellhub members experience the city through Lyft’s mobility network.”

Employees at Wellhub partner companies can now use Citi Bike alongside more than 18,000 gyms, studios, digital wellness tools, and mental health and nutrition services available in the U.S. — creating a seamless wellness ecosystem that meets them on the street and at the desk.
