Hallamshire Aikido Club

Our Aikido classes are held at St Oswald's Church hall, located on the crossroads of Abbeydale road and Bannerdale Road, Follow the driveway to access the off street parking next to the church hall. Hallamshire Aikido Club (est. 1994) is a group dedicated to studying traditional Aikido based on the foundations of N.Tamura Shihan. Our classes cover empty handed techniques which include controlling movements, pins and throws. Solo and paired weapon techniques are also covered. All classes have an emphasis on body mechanics, breath and internal work shown through techniques. Suitable for ages 15+
