Redbridge Drama Centre is located in South Woodford and is a centre for creating, performing and watching theatre for all ages. Since the temporary closure of South Woodford Library & Gym we have also adapted the centre to accommodate our library & leisure customers. These improvements include converting existing rooms into a gym area and fitness studio, with upgrades to the lighting, power and Wi-Fi. We have also refurbished there changing facilities and installed new lockers available. We’re giving away the first 300 padlocks for free to our members: 1 padlock per member. We have also transformed the entrance area into a ‘quick choice’ library area for you to borrow and return books, space to study or relax and login to our public PCs and Hublets. The centre also runs a wide variety of courses, workshop and holiday programmes throughout the year, so whether you are a beginner or advanced, professional or amateur we would like you to drop in and have a chat about how we can help you, or your child, explore what theatre can offer. In addition, we offer a wide range of professional productions throughout the year from established companies and new emerging companies.
