



We offer a variety of classes in martial arts and fitness. Whether you're a beginner or advanced practitioner, you will find a program that improves your skill set and well-being. Adult ju jitsu Urban Contemporary Ju Jitsu (UCJ) is comprised of several other arts: Sanuces Ryu, Kumite Ryu, Vee Jitsu Ryu, boxing and aikido. Classes focuss on self-defense, with practical applications of both striking and throwing techniques. Aikido Aikido involves throws and joint locks that are derived from Jujitsu. It focuses not on punching or kicking opponents, but rather on using their own energy to gain control of them or to throw them away from you. It is not a static art, but places great emphasis on motion and the dynamics of movement. Kickboxing Cardio Kickboxing is a total body workout that combines, boxing and martial arts. The 1 hour class incorporates jumping rope, calisthenics and focus pad training.
