Located in the leafy suburb of Nether Edge, Hallamshire Aikido Club is the right choice if you’re looking for a group dedicated to studying traditional Aikido based on the foundations of N.Tamura Shihan. The classes are held in the sports hall on the ground floor. with toilets and changing spaces just outside of the hall. Classes cover empty handed techniques, including controlling movements, pins and throws. Weapon techniques are also covered. All classes have an emphasis on body mechanics, breath and internal work shown through techniques.
