CrossFit is a Strength & Conditioning programme delivered as a group exercise class. Each 60-minute coach led class typically consists of two separate elements. The first half of the session is often dedicated to a traditional barbell/strength exercise or Olympic Weightlifting. The progressive nature of the programming aims to make you stronger. The second half the session is what we call Metabolic Conditioning (or affectionately, MetCon for short). Its a workout that varies by length and intensity: sometimes they’re hard and fast, sometimes long and slow and sometimes in that area that sits in between - this builds broader, more-rounded fitness. Each constantly varied workout contains elements of Weightlifting, Bodyweight Exercises and Cardio. You need to book to attend the activities.
