THE WORKOUT Created by Joseph Pilates over 80 years ago, this form of workout has been proven to ease or eliminate back pain while also improving posture, core strength, flexibility and balance. Pilates is recognized worldwide today as both an incredible workout and a strong rehabilitation tool. In addition to our top of the line Reformers, our studio has six CoreAlign Machines which makes us the only public studio on the North Shore with Group CoreAlign classes. CoreAlign is a core-based workout which integrates cardio, coordination, balance, flexibility and strength to recreate the way we move in sports. This makes the workout an ideal addition to the routine of anyone involved in running, golfing, skiing, tennis, skating, hiking and cycling! The CoreAlign system and Reformer Equipment can be used by people of all ages and athletic abilities.
